How to Install
 

Installation Procedures


 

  1. Wait for the engine to cool down  completely before installation.
  2. Remove the joint of headlight lantern, waterproof rubber cover and old lamp.
  3. Install the lamp on the base in the headlight lantern and fix it to prevent the base from deformation.
  4. Fix the ballast on proper place.
  5. Connect the ballast with the power supply terminal of headlamp lantern, and connect the output terminal of the ballast with the connector of the lamp.
  6. Check all the installation procedures, make sure that the connection of electricity polar is corrent, and then start the engine of vehicle.
  7. Turn-on power supply to light the lamp.
  8. Check the height, distance and profile of light source and adjust them to meet with the requirements of traffice regulation.
  9. Turn-off engine.


 

Installation Precaution


 

  1. Sometimes it needs to remove the headlight lanterns from the car before, and re-install back after install the lamp inside lanterns. Please avoid scratch or damage the lamp.
  2. Fix the ballast on the proper place with a double stick tape or screws and fixation board.
  3. Do not turn the power of the vehicle lamp during installation to prevent personal injury as electric shock from high voltage outputted by ballast.
  4. Check and adjust the illmination angle of the lamp after installation to avoid glares.
  5. If the lamp do not burn with discharge glow, please check if the electrode of the lamp is too close to other objects. Please adjust it.
  6. Make sure positive and negative connection is corrent. All wires have to be fixed without being pressed, folded, suspended or swaying.
  7. Power of the vehicle battery should in normal scope before engine start, otherwise lamp may flash poor alluminating effect, headlight stops to work, even shorten the lifetime of HID system.
